August 14 UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
Debbie M. sent contact numbers for Holiday Inn Express's for overnight accommodations if any one is interested. They are planning on staying in Santa Clarita {1-661-284-2101} on Friday and Universal City {1-323-845-1600} on Friday. On Sunday we are planning to drive up 101 on the way home.
If you want George to pick up tickets and save a couple of dollars, be prepared to pay him in advance at next Thursday's meeting.
Several people are heading down on Friday. We will discuss travel plans at the Club meeting. Otherwise, Carol and I are planning on leaving the Tulare Rest Stop Saturday at 6:00 AM, which should get us there about 9:30 or 10:00 AM for a single day trip.
